At just 21 years old D’Hati Burgess Jr. has already managed to live up to his unique name which means freewill and determination. Determined to make a name for himself in the music industry Mr. Burgess has always sought any opportunity that could bring him closer to this goal. He originally began by helping close friends locate their personal artistic niches, launching and furthering their careers, he has contributed and assisted in completing several musical projects. D’Hati is fully invested in furthering himself through both educational tools and personal experiences. 

 

Since he was young Mr. Burgess has always shown a deep passion and dedication for music. From singing lead in the church’s choir at the age of 4 to deciding he wanted to study Music Business at the age of 13, Mr. Burgess has always known he wanted to make a career out of his passion. However, it wasn’t until he turned 16 and became stronger in his faith that he knew he wanted to be somehow involved in the gospel industry.

 

Mr. Burgess is heavily invested in his love for the music industry and aspires to start his own artist development label one day.  He's working hard and building the experience necessary to achieve his goals.

 

Growing up living such a diverse lifestyle, between growing up in the church and hearing plenty of gospel music to falling in love with Usher’s 2001 hit radio single “U Remind Me”, Mr. Burgess grew up in a very unique musical environment and has grown to love various musical genres. So while gospel is his favorite genre of music, it isn't the only genre his willing to be involved in.

 

Mr. Burgess is a graduate of Full Sail University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Music Business. During his studies he has mastered some key software programs such as Keynote, Pages, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power point, Microsoft Word, and industry areas such as statistics, management, marketing, limited but valuable knowledge in business law, and much more.
