Heart Like Christ.

Being a real Christian is the hardest thing to do. When you start praying prayers like “God teach me how to love like you.” You’re opening yourself up to a different kind of pain. But it’s the same pain that’ll cause you to perfect your relationship with God. It's easy to walk away from people but when you model your heart after God’s heart you have to account for every time he didn’t walk away from you. We’re quick to take notice of how people hurt us but, God has to remind us in the midst of our pain how we hurt him.

My relationship with God is so strong because of the things I had to endure that I deserved... GOD DESERVED NONE OF IT BUT ENDURED THE BULK OF IT ALL. We’re quick to run to God with our pain, consistently ignoring the pain we cause him & he has NO REASON TO BUT LOVE US UNCONDITIONALLY. So even when you don’t feel like it, you ought to love that friend, family member, etc cause if God ever cut you off from his love there is no telling where you would be. Now you’re in this awkward place where God is growing you, healing you, and honoring your request. Molding your heart after his. And you can’t help but be grateful because what you went through reminded you the significance of God’s grace. And as a Christian that is the hard part. Extending the grace that God extends to you because people abuse and misuse it BUT GOD. And whenever your faith gets weary allow this to be your focus. In spite of how this feels God didn’t give up on me so I won’t give up on it. You will pass every test thinking “But God didn’t give up on me, so I refuse to give up on this.”
