The Ultimate Dating Advice

Many people don't know the significance nor the spiritual purpose of dating. We date for fun, not for marriage. Women, you were created to be a helpmate to your man (because he is in fact somewhere out there). A huge part of your purpose is connected to the rib cage that you were originally removed from and when you're not operating for that purpose you're more vulnerable to spiritual attack.

Take Eve, for example, the serpent didn't deceive her while she was with her husband; but while she was alone. However, many females have become complacent in purposeless freedom and are afraid to commit out of fear of "losing themselves or freedom." Yet, in reality seeing that women were created from the rib of a man they actually lose nothing but gain everything that they lack.

Women also have a habit of dating men they feel as though they have to fix when God didn't create them to fix, he created them to help. So ladies, stop expecting to get anywhere with a broken man you have to fix because in all actuality he's not a man. My Bible says "As a child, I spoke as a child BUT when I became a man I PUT away childish things." That means the only thing that's going to change a broken boy into a man is HIMSELF, through his own walk and relationship with God.

Now to the men, as a man, you must have a mission. I once heard a preacher say that "You can't expect a woman to SUBmit if there's no MISSION for her to SUB to." Fellas, Get yourself together, put away childish things, get your ducks in a row, be able to leave your parents & cleave to your wife. This means you have to have your own, know where you're going, and most important give her something to work with. A huge part of her purpose comes from you. Show her that's she's valued, useful, loved, cherished, and more.

The Bible tells us that he who findeth a wife findeth a good thing and finds FAVOR from the Lord. So, becoming a man and furthermore, a husband doesn't just give you a wife but an added blessing from God. OH, MEN! ( LADIES PEEP THIS TOO) I almost forgot, you're not truly a man if you're not after God's heart. So ladies don't allow any man to lead you if he's not following God because he himself doesn't even know where he's going.

All in all, I wrote this to say that this generation knows the religion of dating, not the actual relationship part. Get into your bibles and learn what dating is actually about. Learn what the proper attributes are & what they do for a relationship, and most importantly what it does for your relationship with God.
